Alex McCrindle was born on August 3, 1911 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was an actor and producer, known for Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), The Dark Island (1962) and Witch Wood (1964). He was married to Honor Arundel. He died on April 20, 1990 in St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, England.
